Entry Requirements

  • Four GCSE including Maths and English
  • GNVQ Intermediate
  • Four years working experience in an accounting environment
  • Candidates with 'A' Level Accounting can start at Intermediate

Course Structure

Core Modules:

  • Unit 11 Drafting Financial Statements
  • Unit 33 Management Accounting
  • Unit 10 Managing Systems & People in the Accounting Environment
  • Unit 32 Professional Ethics**

Plus Two of the following Modules:

  • Unit 17 Implementing Auditing Procedures
  • Unit 18 Preparing Business Taxation Computations
  • Unit 19 Preparing Personal Taxation Computations

** 'Professional Ethics' is common to the Advanced Certificate and Diploma and need only be completed once.

Registration and Exams

For June examinations students need to register before 1st March, for December exams - before 30th September.
