ABE Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality

Course Objectives

Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality aims to provide students with a broad understanding of business along with an understanding of the tourism industry.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required but applicants must demonstrate competence in the English language by attainment of one of the following (or equivalent):

  • British Council - Intermediate Certificate in English/Upper Advanced Certificate in English
  • LCCI - English for Business (EFB) 1st or 2nd level
  • Pitman/City & Guilds - English for Speakers of Other languages (ESOL)/English for Business Communications
  • RSA (OCR) - English language Stage 11

Or

  • Confirmation by their college of equivalent standard in the use of English

Registration and Exams

For the Autumn Semester the registration is on the 1st Friday in September, accordingly the exams are held on the 1st Friday in October.

For the Spring Semester the registration is on the 1st Friday in March, the exams are held on the 1st Friday in April.
