ABE Diploma in Business Information Systems Part I

Entry Requirements

• ABE Certificate
• Two GCE 'A' levels together with four GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English language and Maths
• BTEC National award in relevant subjects
• Three passes in LCCI Third level in relevant subjects
• Four passes in RSA examinations at least two of which must be at Stage 111
• Pitmans Qualifications – Two passes at level 3 in relevant subjects
• An 'Access' Certificate from a UK College of Further Education
• Any NCVQ approved qualifications at level 3 in relevant subjects
• Such overseas qualifications which follow University of London guidelines may be accepted
• Students with at least two years employment experience will be considered even if they do not have formal qualifications

Core Modules:

1. Computer Applications in Business & Finance
2. Computer Fundamentals
3. Business Communication

Optional Modules (Choose one):

1. Organisational Behaviour (Management Pathway)
2. Accounting (Finance Pathway)

Registration and Exams

Exams are held on the 1st Friday in October and on the 1st Friday in April, students need to register on the 1st Friday in September and 1st Friday in March accordingly.
